Remember those Michael Jackson-looking zombies from Plants Vs. Zombies? Not anymore, you don’t. The MTV Multiplayer  blog has an announcement from PopCap which confirms that the Dancing Zombie is undergoing a redesign following complaints from the Michael Jackson estate, who wanna be startin’ something.

The Charity Update

So it’s finally released

Whoop, this post is a week late, but after finally getting 1.35 out, i really wasn’t in the mood anymore to write anything and just wanted to relax.

So yeah, we finally did it, 1 1/2 years after releasing 1.34, we managed to release 1.35 which is completely done without the help of Skidz and Hyperjag3, the former creators of OC. And damn, it feels good seeing it all done and played with other people.

Now it’s all about collecting bugs so we can fix them with the next hotfix/ patch. People already reported some stuff and we also found a few on our own.

After that we start preparing for our Steam release which will take us a while again, but it will be so worth it in the end!

Let’s see how the next few weeks go for OC, i really hope we attracted some more mappers and will see new maps released in the future, we really, really need more people mapping for oc.

On a side note, Mesark started updating his anime playermodels, adding some sexy jigglebones and generally improving them. So far only the Shana model is done, which you can already get by joining our server. Once he finishes the Taiga model, we will make a new post here, which will hopefully be soon!

New Portal Ending

The game we all love and hold dear so much, Valve has released not only those silly collectable radios in each level, but have also given it a completely new ending.

Note: You will only see this ending if you have gotten the achievement for completing the game, I think. Either that or the radio one.

Still going

Yeah it sadly gotten kinda quiet here again, but don’t worry this blog won’t die or something, we love it too much to let that happen!

We just don’t always have stuff to post, are not in the mood to or we are busy with other stuff.

Me for example is pretty busy with oc 1.35, which i hope we can release soon. We are way behind, but don’t worry, it will pay off. What was planned as a “small content update” with just a few new maps and little changes on the code now turned into a much bigger update with a very long changelist. Much more stuff has been changed/added code-wise and the same counts for maps and other misc. content, like for example the cs:s v_models now all have proper muzzleflashes and shell ejections.

The only work i have left for 1.35 is finishing broken_escape_2b and c, which are pretty close to completion. I also updated part 1 and 2a while i was at it, part 1 has gotten a few graphical improvements that were really needed, for example the sewers area where you fight the bigmomma.

We also now have our first donor feature, which makes your name match your personal color in scoreboard, chat, TargetID (the stuff other players see when they aim at you) as well as deathnotices.

You will see them in action in the screenshots below, which are from our 7 hours beta testing mostly on harvest. It was fun! <3

Oh and not to forget, rob was so cool to do the voice acting for broken escape 2, so lot of thanks to him!

Keychain’s new sig image

I made a new sig image for Keychain today and it turned out pretty great, we both love it.

Reason for the sig change is that i started using Shana as my ava again so our old toradora sigs didn’t fit anymore. Otherwise we would have kept using them since i was pretty proud of them.

Here’s my sig, it is pretty old though, have it since 2 years at least, still like it though.

Also, here’s a sig i made for Keychain back when she was into Shakugan no Shana like me.
