Yesturday came to everyone from Valve, a big surprise. They gave TF2 it’s own special Halloween-based update. This update adds a new King of the Hill map (koth_harvest), two new frightening hats (Tophat and Paperbag Mask), some new aspects to what Team Fortress 2’s story is, and even some new, possibly temporary achievements.
I got all the achievements by farming them with Fox. I don’t like King of the Hill so I may never get around to seriously playing the map. Oh, did I mention I got the Jarate Headband?
Valve accidentally(?) forgot to encrypt the introduction theme music to all the campaigns, so they were pretty much leaked. Here they are from the first campaign to the last one!
That’s right. You know, it’s almost surprising to see this happen. But we all know Valve. They love their fans, even if they have a crappy government. And for some reason, I really want these. Not willing to trade gore for it, though.
Something I whipped up last night. The good thing about me making backwards videos is that they always end up making half sense in the end. And that’s a fact. If you liked this, make sure to check out my old Meet the Spy backwards video, that video makes half sense too!
Of course, we all know Valve gets their things leaked on purpose. A rather badass trailer of Left 4 Dead 2 which shows the new survivors trying to evacuate the city only to find out their only means of transportation were going to the wrong way. Military bombs the place, all that stuff. It’s all really epic.
Valve decided to get off their asses and do yet another thing no other company would do for their fans. Release exclusive content from the trailers, and they’ve just released a bunch of props and such from Meet the Sniper such as the #1 Sniper cup, Bobbleheads, and even the Sniper’s camper van!
A huge new content pack is coming soon, and it’s said to all be free! Excluding the player pack, if it’s another two bucks it will be completely worth it! A lot more than what I was expecting appears to be coming. Is Tripwire trying to compete with L4D2?
